Autodesk downloads and ITT
Just a reminder for those of you that have downloaded AutoCAD version 10 on you home PC's...
On your home systems, be sure to set the option for "save as" to Autocad version 2007, otherwise you will not be able to open the files in the school labs because the files are incompatable.
I believe that you can set AutoCAD 2007 to be the default for Save As by going to Tools --> Options to open the Options dialog box. From there, pick the Open and Save tab. Pick the Save as dropdown arrow and select AutoCAD 2007/LT 2007 Drawing (.dwg) from the list. Pick the Apply button at the bottom of the screen and the OK button to close the dialog box.
To get the Autodesk software, click on the Autodesk link. Go to the communities pull down, under educators & students sign in or become a member. Be sure to use your ITT email, this is how they verify your status. Once you gain access, you will find access to the downloadable software we use on campus plus more.
